Today I am a pink princess… with cowboy boots and thigh high socks, of course!

And with my magic wand, I am going to pick up my big sister from school.

We went to Nicole’s bridal shower a few weeks ago. Ava was super excited to go to an “all girl” party.

And when we got there, it wasn’t the pink decorations she was excited about.

It was the hot pink lipstick she got to wear!

Snuggles.

And smiles.

Who’s the baby around here? Not me. I’m a big girl now.

This is Luka. At 5 days old. His face still a little puffy.

And his eyes trying really hard to focus on something. On anything.

Hey little guy, are you trying to smile for us? Well, are you?

I think not. Peeyou!

The day after Luka came home, the girls went to school and told everyone all about him. As soon as they came home, they ran through the front the door asking to hold him. And these are the things they said about him in the first few days of his life.

“It’s not baby brodel. It’s baby Luka.“, Mila said.

And Ava had a lot more to say about Luka. So far she has told us: “Is baby brother real?” and “Why is baby Luka dark today? He is supposed to be light!” and “What is baby brother’s name again?” and “I can’t believe how cute he is!“.

And my favorite one so far: “Baby brother smells like cheese.”
