Mila: 25 weeks old…
Hi there. My little bunny is now 25 weeks old and still loves grabbing her feet.

And where are we this week? Still in beautiful New Mexico. But not for long.

This week we spent some time at Balmorhea State Park where they have a natural spring pool. The water is a little too cold for my taste… and for Mila’s. So I am guessing she will have to wait for her first pool dip until we hit the waters of Florida.

She is still loving the exesaucer. She will spend a good 10-15 minutes in this thing, pulling at all the toys, giving Mama a break.

And if I get too close, she will pull me too. Hence, the nickname “grabby”.

After Balmorhea, we hit the road again for our next destination. Mila is still not super good in the car when she is awake. So when nap time is over, we pull over. Into a random city. But it adds to our adventure. And we get to see things that we would have missed otherwise. Like this Davey Crockett statue. Davey, Davey Crockett. King of the wild frontier.

Mila got to go into her first cave this week in Sonora, Texas. She slept most of the way. It was nice and toasty in there for her.

Her two favorite fingers are always in her mouth these days. I wonder if she will ever discover her thumb?

And then it was time to hit civilization again. Hello Austin! Here is Mila… helping you keep your city weird. Hehe.

Lots of sightseeing from the carrier. People always have sweet things to say when they see her little legs sticking out as we cruise around.

But she is not always in her favorite spot. We let her loose too. And look who is trying her hardest to sit up. Almost there!

Any day now, Mila. Any day now.

We also waited around for the famous bats of Austin to come out but they never did. Still in Mexico on vacation, I’m guessing. It did just snow here a couple days ago so it’s still too early to see them fly. Boo!

Mila is still getting tons of kisses from seka (a.k.a. big sister Ava).

Alright. Time for us to look for the basement in the Alamo. Bye!
