I was looking through some old pictures today and noticed all my knuckle pictures. It’s what Ava does when she wants to be comforted by me. It started when she was really little. And during this trip, she stopped cold. No more knuckles. Probably because she has stopped liking milk. What a strange phase. And it really was just my knuckles. No other knuckles would do.

I sure hope the knuckle phase comes back because I miss it. I don’t think Mila will have one.

Because she’s into pinching. T-R-O-U-B-L-E.
