Little Lins!

This my last week being a stay at home mom. So sad. I wish someone would pay me to stay home and take care of Ava. Maybe I should start playing the lottery.

We took Ava to daycare this week for a trial day. We dropped her off in the morning and got her set up there. She has her own crib and all of her supplies are labeled with her name so no sharing takes place. After a couple tears, we left for some breakfast and some shopping. Dan needed some casual work clothes since he has been working from home for the past 3 years… and I ‘outgrew’ mine. So we hit up Old Navy. As we were leaving the store, we ran into the lady in charge of taking care of Ava. Umm, who is taking care of my baby? Well, I guess she deserves a lunch break occasionally.

Ava’s Uncle David came by for a visit too. She really didn’t care for his glasses. Once they were off his face, they were all smiles.

Ava finally fits into her Angel onesie. Dan and I gave these onesies to our moms last Mother’s Day to tell them we were pregnant.

Ava spends a lot of time with her hand in her mouth, creating drool and bubbles.

And for some reason, when you hold Ava up in the air, she can’t help but get into a superman pose. If you look closely, you can see Yoda hiding under the crib. She loves it there.

And finally, Yoda has been a bit more interested in Ava when she is sitting in her bebe pod.

This morning we brought Ava to her day care where she will be hanging out starting next week while we are at work. It was a little sad to leave her with someone else but the place and the people are pretty nice and she did pretty well. This video is 11 minutes and 15 seconds so sit back and relax.

Here are 2 clips merged together of Ava in the morning or April 3rd. First clip mommy helps her practice sitting up and in the second part, Ava lays in her crib and stares at her favorite mobile. She has a great yell at 5:45 into the clip.
